India is several markets inside one country. Zinnov and Nasscom's 2026 GCC research counts 2,117 global capability centers employing 2.36 million people, concentrated in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune and Chennai. Each metro has its own gravity: banking and financial services in Mumbai, government and public sector undertakings in Delhi, GCCs and product engineering in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, automotive and engineering R&D in Pune. A program with one national message wastes most of its reach, so we build metro and sector plays with separate proof points.

The harder problem is where decisions are made. Indian-headquartered companies such as Reliance, HDFC Bank or Bharti Airtel decide locally, while many GCCs route budgets and vendor approval to global headquarters even when the India team owns the work. We map both people on every GCC account and sequence outreach so the global owner hears the same story the India site leader does. Our delivery team sits in Hyderabad, which keeps research, calling and event coverage on Indian working hours.

Partner ecosystem

Salesforce lists Indian offices in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Mumbai and Hyderabad, Databricks in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Gurugram and Pune, and Microsoft operates in ten Indian cities with its Hyderabad development centre the largest outside Redmond. The major Indian SIs are headquartered here (TCS and LTIMindtree in Mumbai, Infosys and Wipro in Bengaluru, HCLTech in Noida, Tech Mahindra in Pune).

Who is here

The India ecosystem includes Tata Consultancy Services (HQ Mumbai), Infosys (HQ Bengaluru), Wipro (HQ Bengaluru), HCLTech (HQ Noida), Tech Mahindra (HQ Pune), LTIMindtree (HQ Mumbai), Reliance Industries (HQ Mumbai), HDFC Bank (HQ Mumbai) and others.

Local plays

How we run revenue pipeline generation in India.

Dual-threaded GCC plays

For each global capability center on the list, we identify the India site head and the global function owner who signs, then run coordinated outreach in both time zones. Content is written for internal forwarding, so the India team can make the case upward without rewriting your pitch for headquarters.

Metro-by-sector segmentation

Separate account lists and messages for BFSI in Mumbai, GCCs and product engineering in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, government-adjacent buyers in Delhi NCR, and automotive R&D in Pune. Each segment has its own case studies and event calendar, and results are compared so budget shifts toward what converts.

Event season meeting programs

Pre-booked meetings around the moments decision-makers gather: the Nasscom GCC Summit in May, Global Fintech Fest in Mumbai in September, India Mobile Congress in New Delhi in October and Bengaluru Tech Summit in November. Outreach starts weeks ahead so the calendar is full before your team travels.

Rules of the road. Outreach that stays compliant.

Privacy and outreach

The Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 is being phased in under the DPDP Rules published on 14 November 2025, with notice, consent, security safeguard and breach reporting obligations applying from 14 May 2027. Telemarketing calls and SMS are governed by TRAI's TCCCPR 2018 as amended on 12 February 2025: promotional calls must use the 140 series and service or transactional calls the 1600 series, 10-digit numbers are barred for commercial communication, and customer preference (DND) choices must be honoured.

Digital assets

India has no comprehensive crypto law: since the Finance Ministry's 7 March 2023 notification, VDA service providers (including offshore ones serving Indian users) are reporting entities under the PMLA and must register with FIU-IND, and the Finance Act 2022 taxes VDA gains at a flat 30% with 1% TDS on transfers. The RBI remains cautious, with Governor Sanjay Malhotra saying in November 2025 that crypto and stablecoins carry huge risk.

Buyer notes

Enterprise buying splits between Indian-headquartered companies deciding locally and GCCs whose budgets and vendor approvals often sit with global headquarters, so account mapping should cover both the India site leader and the global function owner. Sector gravity differs by metro: BFSI in Mumbai, government and PSUs in Delhi, GCCs and product engineering in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, automotive and engineering R&D in Pune.

Across the region

Markets we cover from here.

Pune

Pune combines one of India's largest automotive and manufacturing bases with a major IT corridor. Chakan MIDC hosts plants for Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Bajaj Auto, Mahindra & Mahindra, Hyundai and Jaguar Land Rover, while Hinjewadi, Kharadi and Magarpatta hold campuses for Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, Accenture and others. Tech Mahindra, Persistent Systems, KPIT and Zensar are headquartered here, which makes them both buyers and potential channel partners. Automotive buying is engineering and plant-led, often with a global parent involved, so pipeline plays lead with technical evaluation support and are timed around ARAI's SIAT symposium each January.

Revenue pipeline generation in India. Common questions.

Still unsure? Ask us directly.

How does the DPDP Act affect B2B marketing in India?

The Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 is being phased in under rules published on 14 November 2025, and notice, consent, security safeguard and breach reporting obligations apply from 14 May 2027. B2B programs should already document how contact data is collected and used. We build that record into list building now, so campaigns do not need rework later.

Can we cold call prospects in India?

Commercial calling is governed by TRAI's TCCCPR 2018, amended on 12 February 2025. Promotional calls must use the 140 number series, service or transactional calls use the 1600 series, ordinary 10-digit numbers are barred for commercial communication, and DND preferences must be honored. We plan calling within those rules, or favor email and LinkedIn where calling does not fit.

Why do GCC deals in India involve two sets of stakeholders?

Because many global capability centers own the work locally but not the budget. The India site leader influences selection, while the global function owner or procurement team at headquarters approves the contract. Winning needs both, so we map and engage each side and give the India champion material built for internal approval.

Where does the Lemniscate team for India work from?

Our delivery team is based in Hyderabad, and the company is registered in the United States and Dubai. That keeps research, calling and event support on Indian working hours while strategy connects to buyers in the US, the Middle East and elsewhere. For India programs, the team covers accounts nationally rather than a single metro.

How do B2B companies evaluate a revenue pipeline generation agency for the Indian market?

Most start by testing whether the agency sees India as several markets. A credible revenue pipeline partner for India explains how it separates Indian-headquartered buyers such as Reliance or HDFC Bank from GCCs whose approvals sit abroad, and how messaging shifts between BFSI in Mumbai, public sector buyers in Delhi, GCCs in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, and automotive R&D in Pune. Ask for pipeline reporting by metro and segment, not one national lead count.

When should a revenue pipeline program for India line up its event season outreach?

Plan for two clusters. Early in the year, Nasscom's Technology and Leadership Forum in February and its GCC Summit in May gather CXOs and center heads, both in Mumbai for 2026. The busier stretch runs from September to November, with Global Fintech Fest in Mumbai, India Mobile Congress in New Delhi, India Blockchain Week and Bengaluru Tech Summit. India pipeline programs should finish account research and start pre-booking meetings several weeks before each cluster opens.

Should a company selling into India choose a local agency or a partner with global reach for pipeline generation?

It depends on where your deals get approved. For Indian enterprises that decide locally, research and calling on Indian hours, plus working knowledge of TRAI's 140 and 1600 series rules, matter most. For GCC accounts, the partner must also reach global function owners in the US, Europe or the Middle East. Lemniscate Growth pairs a Hyderabad delivery team with entities in San Jose and Dubai, which suits India pipeline programs that span both kinds of buyer.
