B2B content marketing · United States

B2B content marketing agency for the United States. Written for the whole buying committee, quotable by AI assistants, and sent by sales.

We plan, write and distribute content for B2B technology companies selling across the United States: structured answer pages an AI assistant can cite, original research nobody else can publish, executive bylines on LinkedIn, and assets built for the finance, security, legal and procurement readers who never take a sales call. Every piece is tracked to pipeline and meetings booked.

The short answerA B2B content marketing agency in the United States plans, writes and distributes the material that buying committees and their AI assistants use to form a shortlist, then shows which pieces moved revenue. Lemniscate Growth runs it as one program: structured answer pages that AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity can quote, original data competitors cannot copy, CXO bylines published on LinkedIn, separate assets for finance, security, legal and procurement, and enablement pieces that sales reps actually send. We report on pipeline created, meetings booked and deals influenced, and treat traffic as a leading signal rather than the goal.

What is different in United States. And what it means for pipeline.

US buyers now meet your content through a machine before they meet it on your site. Forrester's The State Of Business Buying, 2026, from nearly 18,000 business buyers, reports that 94% use AI during the buying process. TrustRadius surveyed 1,862 technology buyers in January 2026 and found 63% used AI during the purchase, 94% of those check what it tells them at least sometimes, and 74% use reviews. 6sense found 94% of buying groups had ranked preferred vendors before first contact, so the content that shapes that ranking has done its work before a form is ever filled in. Google is explicit that there is no trick to this: its documentation says there are no additional requirements or special optimizations to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode, and no special schema, AI text files or machine readable files are needed. A page has to be indexed and eligible to show with a snippet. So the work is editorial. Write the answer plainly in the first lines, keep the proof on crawlable pages rather than in gated PDFs, and make sure the claims survive the fact-check a buyer runs afterward.

The second US reality is that most of the committee never talks to you. Forrester puts a typical decision at 13 internal stakeholders and nine external influencers. The Edelman and LinkedIn 2025 B2B Thought Leadership Impact Report found more than 40% of B2B deals stall because of misalignment inside the buying group, and that hidden buyers in finance, operations, legal, compliance and procurement read as much thought leadership as the named buyer: 63% spend more than an hour a week on it and 55% use it to evaluate vendors. The same research found 35% of hidden buyers were encouraged by a C-suite executive to consider a vendor after engaging with its thought leadership. That is the case for executive bylines and for writing a separate piece for each reader who can block the deal.

Third, most US content programs are still measured on the wrong thing. The Content Marketing Institute's B2B Content and Marketing Trends: Insights for 2026, from 1,015 B2B marketers mostly in North America, found only 12% rate their marketing highly effective. 80% measure audience engagement while 63% measure business impact such as leads and pipeline, and the top content challenge is creating content that prompts conversion, cited by 40%. 89% use AI to generate or optimize written content, yet only 39% say AI improved content performance. The same study names LinkedIn as the most effective thought leadership channel, cited by 76%. We plan calendars around the rooms each industry fills: Manifest in Las Vegas, 8 to 10 February 2027, for logistics technology, Legalweek in New York, 1 to 3 March 2027, RSAC and HIMSS, both 5 to 8 April 2027, in San Francisco and Chicago, and Dreamforce in San Francisco, 21 to 23 September 2027, for Salesforce integrators and ISVs.

Local plays

How we run b2b content marketing in United States.

Answer pages built to be quoted

We map the questions each committee member types into Google and into AI assistants, then publish one page per question with the answer in the opening lines, a definition, a comparison where it helps, and named proof. Google states structured data should match what is visible on the page, so markup describes the content rather than dressing it up. The goal is to be the sentence an assistant repeats.

Original data nobody else can publish

Google's guidance on helpful content asks whether a page offers original information, reporting, research or analysis. We turn what you already hold into that: anonymized platform benchmarks, a short survey of your customer base, or a teardown of a problem your delivery team solves every week. One dataset becomes a report, a set of answer pages, LinkedIn posts, a webinar and a sales slide.

CXO bylines on LinkedIn

We interview your founder or executives, draft posts and articles in their own voice, and run a steady publishing rhythm on their profiles rather than only on the company page. The Content Marketing Institute found LinkedIn is the channel B2B marketers most often rate effective for thought leadership. Bylines also answer Google's question of who wrote a piece and why they are credible.

Assets for the readers who block deals

Hidden buyers rarely take a meeting, so the content has to reach them through the champion. We build a finance brief, a security and data handling page, a procurement summary and an implementation walkthrough for each core use case, written so a rep can forward them without editing. Gartner found 69% of B2B buyers turn to sales reps to validate AI-generated insights, so reps need material that settles the question. Sales reviews every piece before it ships, which is how content ends up in the pipeline instead of the archive.

Measured in pipeline, not pageviews

Each piece carries a job: be cited, win the click, book the meeting or move a stalled opportunity. We track AI assistant citations, Search Console queries, influenced opportunities and meetings booked in your CRM, and report monthly on which topics produced pipeline. Topics that draw traffic but no buyers are retired, and topics that sales keeps sending get more depth.

Rules of the road. Outreach that stays compliant.

Privacy and outreach

Three layers of rule constrain US outbound and they do not line up neatly. Federal: CAN-SPAM governs commercial email, has no business-to-business exemption, and requires accurate headers, a valid physical postal address and an opt-out honored within 10 business days. The TCPA, at 47 USC 227, governs calls and texts; most of the FCC's revised consent rules took effect on 11 April 2025, and the remaining revoke-all requirement, which treats a revocation sent in reply to one type of message as applying to all future robocalls and robotexts from that caller, is now set for 31 January 2027. State privacy: twenty state comprehensive privacy laws were in force during 2026, with Indiana, Kentucky and Rhode Island joining on 1 January 2026, and four more were enacted during 2026, taking the enacted total to 24. Louisiana and Oklahoma take effect on 1 January 2027, Alabama on 1 May 2027 and Vermont on 1 January 2028, and all four exclude personal data processed in employment and business-to-business contexts, as nearly every state law outside California does. California remains the exception: the CCPA's B2B and employee exemptions expired on 1 January 2023, so a California resident's work email, direct dial and job title carry the same notice, opt-out and deletion rights as consumer data, registered data brokers must process deletion requests from the state's DROP platform at least every 45 days from 1 August 2026, and new CCPA regulations on automated decision-making technology, risk assessments and cybersecurity audits applied from 1 January 2026. State telemarketing: the mini-TCPA statutes bite hardest on calls and SMS. Florida's Telephone Solicitation Act requires prior express written consent for unsolicited sales calls and texts made with an automated system, and since the amendment signed on 25 May 2023 a recipient must reply STOP and wait 15 days before suing. Oklahoma's Telephone Solicitation Act of 2022, in force since 1 November 2022, carries a private right of action for the greater of actual damages or $500, trebled for willful violations. Texas SB 140, effective 1 September 2025, pulled text and image messages into the state's telephone solicitation rules. Pending: the CLARITY Act and a long queue of state bills are not yet law and should be tracked rather than planned around. None of this is legal advice; have counsel review any US sequence that includes calls or SMS, and any list built on purchased California data.

Buyer notes

US B2B buyers now start in an AI assistant and finish with a human. Forrester's The State Of Business Buying, 2026, built on a Buyers' Journey Survey of nearly 18,000 global business buyers, reports that 94% of business buyers use AI during the buying process, that twice as many name generative AI or conversational search as a more meaningful information source than name any other source, ahead of vendor websites, product experts and sales, and that a typical decision now involves 13 internal stakeholders and nine external influencers. Gartner found in May 2026 that 69% of B2B buyers turn to sales reps to validate AI-generated insights, so the assistant sets the shortlist and the rep confirms it. TrustRadius's 2026 B2B Buying Disconnect, from 1,862 technology buyers surveyed in January 2026, found 63% used AI during the purchase, 94% of those fact-check what it tells them at least sometimes, 74% use reviews, and analyst report usage has fallen to 13%. 6sense's 2025 Buyer Experience Report, from more than 4,000 buyers, found 94% of buying groups had ranked preferred vendors before first contact and bought from that early favorite 77% of the time. Act on it this way. First, be describable: assistants can only cite what is written plainly and publicly, so the claims, commercial model, integrations, security posture and named customers have to sit on indexable pages, review platforms and partner directories, not inside gated PDFs. Second, publish the proof the buyer uses to check the machine, because Forrester found more than 60% of buyers purchase some form of trial, from limited pilots to paid sandboxes, which makes a trial path a demand generation asset rather than only a sales motion. Third, write for the committee, not the champion: separate material for finance, security, legal and the operating team shortens the internal business case. Fourth, treat category presence as continuous rather than campaign-shaped, because the shortlist is usually set before anyone fills in a form. On coverage, the metros listed above carry most US B2B technology demand, and the obvious gaps in that list are Phoenix, Salt Lake City and Minneapolis, each of which holds enough enterprise buying to deserve its own account map.

B2B content marketing in United States. Common questions.

Still unsure? Ask us directly.

What does a B2B content marketing agency do?

It decides what to publish, for whom and why, then writes, distributes and measures it. For a US technology company that means answer pages for search and AI assistants, original research, executive thought leadership on LinkedIn, webinars, and the enablement assets sales sends to finance, security, legal and procurement. The output that matters is not the number of posts but the share of pipeline the content touched.

How is content for AI assistants different from SEO content?

Less than most people claim. Google says there are no additional requirements or special optimizations for AI Overviews or AI Mode, and no special schema or AI text files are needed, as long as the page is indexed and eligible for a snippet. What changes is the writing: direct answers early on the page, claims backed by named proof, and facts kept on public pages an assistant can read and a buyer can check.

Do our executives have to write their own LinkedIn posts?

No, but they have to own the ideas. We interview them, draft in their voice, and they approve every post before it goes out. The Edelman and LinkedIn 2025 research found 35% of hidden buyers were encouraged by a C-suite executive to consider a vendor after engaging with its thought leadership, so the executive's name and point of view carry weight that a company page cannot.

How do you measure B2B content marketing?

Against pipeline and meetings booked, with traffic and engagement as leading signals. The Content Marketing Institute found 80% of B2B marketers measure audience engagement but only 63% measure business impact such as leads and pipeline. We tag every piece in your CRM, track which ones sales sends and which ones appear in opportunities, and report monthly on the topics that produced revenue.

Can we use AI to produce our content?

Yes, as a drafting and research tool, not as the author. Google's guidance says content should be created to help people rather than to manipulate rankings, and its spam policies name using generative AI to produce many pages without adding value for users as scaled content abuse. The Content Marketing Institute found 89% of B2B marketers use AI for written content, yet only 39% say it improved content performance. Original data and expert voices are what AI cannot supply.

Where is the team based?

Our US entity is in San Jose, with a UAE entity in Dubai and the delivery team in Hyderabad. Strategy, executive interviews and editorial reviews run in US working hours, and production of drafts, design and landing pages turns around overnight, so a byline recorded on Tuesday can be approved and published by Thursday.
